Christian Corbet first lesson in the ancient practice of the medallic arts came after a chance meeting with Dr. Elizabeth Bradford Holbrook 1913-2009 After a couple hours visiting Elizabeth for the first time and showing her his oil painting work she exclaimed "You paint like a sculptor! Here, sit down and try sculpting.". Its fair to say after that very moment in 1997 in Dr. Holbrook's studio that Christian found his primary calling in fine art and one that he clearly and uniquely excels at
